About Auren

WE HOLD
THE HOURS
between.

Auren develops, owns and operates grid-scale battery infrastructure. We exist to make clean electricity useful beyond the moment it is generated.

Why Auren exists

CLEAN ENERGY
DOESN'T ARRIVE
on schedule.

Electricity systems are being asked to absorb more variable generation while still delivering power exactly when people and industry need it.

We built Auren around a simple belief: storage should be treated as infrastructure, not equipment. That means choosing the right grid problem, building the right asset for it, and staying responsible for how that asset performs over decades.

FROM SIGNAL
TO operating asset.

Auren is not a battery-cell manufacturer. Our work sits across the full infrastructure lifecycle, from finding a grid need to operating the facility that solves it.

01 / Find

Read the grid.

Atlas screens constraints, generation, demand, connection pathways and market signals.

02 / Originate

Secure the project.

Site control, grid connection, permitting and commercial structure turn a signal into a viable development.

03 / Build

Engineer the asset.

Procure battery systems, power conversion, controls and balance-of-plant around the project's actual operating role.

04 / Own

Keep the alignment.

Long-term ownership connects development decisions with operating performance and asset value.

05 / Operate

Dispatch intelligently.

Field operations and Atlas manage availability, state of charge, market opportunity and useful life.

How we work

FOUR
convictions.

01

Start with the grid problem.

Capacity comes after purpose. A 200 MW two-hour asset and a 60 MW four-hour asset should not exist for the same reason.

02

Location is part of the technology.

A good battery in the wrong node can be a weak infrastructure investment. Atlas makes siting and interconnection part of the core product.

03

Own the consequences.

Development, construction and operations are connected. Long-term ownership gives Auren a reason to make decisions that survive beyond financial close.

04

Build for change.

Markets, generation mixes and grid needs evolve. Assets and control strategies should retain enough flexibility to evolve with them.

ONE THESIS.
DIFFERENT grids.

Auren follows grid problems, not a single geography. The portfolio demonstrates three different storage theses across three energy systems.

Edinburgh

High-power flexibility for wind congestion and ancillary services.

High-energy storage built around a daily solar capture and evening release cycle.

Four-hour reserve capacity located around an urban evening-demand problem.

BUILT BY
infrastructure people.

Auren brings development, grid engineering, capital and operations into one team.
